With a strong commitment to helping individuals manage chronic pain, Louise's approach is deeply rooted in both her extensive academic background and her diverse professional experiences.
In addition to leading Cognisance, Louise works with the NHS, specializing in Post Viral Syndrome. Louise's educational journey is as significant as her professional one. She holds an MSci in Radiotherapy and Oncology, graduating with Distinction, and has also earned an MSc in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh. Her academic achievements extend further with a BSc from the University of St Andrews, where she studied Neuroscience and Psychology, as well as a BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy from the University of Worcester.
Louise’s dedication to her field is also reflected in her specialized training from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre at the University of Oxford, equipping her with advanced skills in mindfulness and psychological therapies. This combination of clinical expertise and academic rigor positions Louise as a specialist in pain management, providing her clients with compassionate care grounded in the latest scientific research.
At Cognisance, Louise is committed to using her diverse skills and experience to help people manage their pain in a holistic and effective way, always focusing on improving their quality of life.
